maybe it would be nice at some point to have NFCIP support in libnfc and then create a Java wrapper for it. Should make it easier to also support the "new firmware" ACR122 device as you need this SCardControl for sending commands iirc which is not really exported to javax.smartcardio.*. Maybe I have some time for this in the next few weeks...
