I'm the lucky owner of a dell laptop with integrated rfid reader.
Does nfclib support this reader ?
or is there a way I cab find this out myself ?

It seems to be a bundle of "trusted" componant, with contactless smartcart reader, so you should look at PC/SC instead of libnfc:

Thanks for information, buying a supported reader will probably be easiest solution.

I know the is working with ps/sc. various windows applications are able to work with this reader i.e. jsmartcard explorer  ( http://www.primianotucci.com/default.php?view=113 )

I am a still bit puzzled what is different in the approach of nfc-lib from pscs(lite) when setting up connection to reader and retrive data from card.

Noticed that this reader is also on the supported readers list from muscle / PCSC-Lite site ( http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid/readers/ ) which has a lot of info on various ccid's including some wireless.
