Topic: Anyone interested in working on the TRF7970A ? 77TRF7970A

This is a TI part that supports peer to peer ( which is my main interest ) .
TI has a kit for $99.

If anyone is interested in developing FLOSS for this chip, let me know.
I will see if I can get you hardware to work with.   Hardware can be a *USB to parallel interface* or *USB to SPI interface* or some other scheme we work out.   I am willing to have PCBs made and populated.

The TRF7970A uses either an SPI or parallel interface.

Hm, you looks like someone from the TI marketing department tongue

BTW where do you get the ICs from? I can't even order samples, nor could I find the distributor...

Hello Ynezz

I am not nor have ever been employed by Texas Instruments.  I love FLOSS and I want to do cool things with NFC.  I want to help other FLOSS developers.
I am looking at TI parts right now because there were free samples.  I am awaiting my samples right now.

Are you interested in chips or a development board ????

you can google me up using the keyword ==> 99guspuppet

If you are interested I have made a TRF7970A Breakout Board working fine (I have 6 PCB), I have even ported TRF7970A to STM32F4 Discovery board and it work fine with TI EVM GUI.
